Overview

Airbus partnered with Vox Creative to build its first consumer-facing storytelling platform, trusting us to translate aerospace innovation into stories that everyday audiences could understand and care about.

I developed the narrative and visual framework for The Flight Path, a four-part editorial series that unified Airbus's work in sustainable aviation fuel, AI, commercial aviation, and defense into a cohesive consumer narrative. The pilot episode explored one of aviation's biggest questions: what needs to happen to fuel sustainable aviation?

Creative Approach

The biggest challenge was creating a visual system that felt cohesive yet flexible enough to span vastly different topics, one capable of communicating complex ideas ranging from chemistry to aerospace engineering.

I conceived a contemporary editorial visual language with retro-futuristic influence that blended illustration, archival footage, motion graphics, and expert interviews into a single narrative system. Illustration became a powerful tool for simplifying technical concepts, visualizing invisible processes, and making a variety of dense scientific ideas understandable.

To build credibility, I featured a mix of Airbus leaders with independent experts while stripping away technical jargon in favor of clear, conversational storytelling. Moments of humor kept the series approachable, proving that even highly technical subjects can feel engaging, human, and emotionally resonant.
